Helpful Tips

  • Congrats, you’re engaged! Now what? Start with a guest list to figure out how big of a venue you need and a rough cost of food. Then make a budget. There is a step by step planner included in the download above.

  • Consider getting pictures of your extended family and your grandparents. It’s really neat to look back at pictures of our loved ones who have since passed away.

  • In fact, it’s a good idea to make a list of the pictures you want and provide to your photographer, as well as your personal attendant. You will be so busy that you may forget so it’s nice to have a personal attendant or bridesmaid to check things off the list.

  • Notify your bank prior to the wedding day and honeymoon. Most banks will only allow transactions of a certain amount so be sure to let them know you will have a hefty check coming through!

  • On that note, don’t forget your debit card or check book when you go to the reception! If you didn’t prepay the caterer and you’re not bringing a clutch, assign someone else to carry your checkbook.

  • Consider carpools for the bridal party and line up drivers for their vehicles. This way, they can ride the party bus and not have to worry about getting back to their vehicle later that night or the next day.

  • Pack an emergency kit and bring on the party bus! Helpful tip: carbonated water will help remove wine stains.

Hopefully this wedding planner will ease your stress and allow you to enjoy the day! All the details will come together. Your wedding day will go so fast, try to be present and soak in every second!
